All we had ever known was happiness, but Willa, not content with this, decided to peek behind the veil of perfection to see if there was more to life. That was the day the garden began to crumble to dust all around us, ruining paradise for everyone.
Thanks a lot, Willa.
I read this and it seemed to have a lot of similarities to a certain other story in history, great 🙂

Hmmm, I don’t think I’m familiar with this other historical tale you speak of (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it)

This is the story of how people go on a quest for truth and end up finding it, but with disastrous results. xo

To quote Agent Smith, “Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this: the peak of your civilization.”

Loved that monologue from the film. It gave me a lot to think about. That film was truly a defining moment for our generation. It brought together several strands of philosophical thought into one bite sized statement.

Exactly! But let this be our little secret, okay? The last thing I need is those EVE-angelicals trying to CANCEL me.
